Castle Investment Consultants was established in 1985, by our past Managing Director, Charles Lucas, then a Sole Proprietor. One by one, further Consultants joined, requiring a temporary office in Central Southampton. In April 1988, the business moved into freehold premises at number 21 Junction Road, Totton, on the edge of the New Forest. In mid-1988 the Southampton based advisors also moved from Bedford Place to the Totton office. In 1990 the business became a Limited Company in order to expand further, and in 1996 took the opportunity to buy the shop and accommodation next door at number 19, to provide a bigger reception and increased office space.
The Company now has 8 authorized advisors, based from the west Hampshire to East Sussex, dealing with Clients throughout England and Wales. Four administrative staff look after the “back office” functions for the Advisors. We are considered to be “general practitioners” who have an holistic approach to financial planning, understanding that any individual may have many differing needs to be addressed, in order to create a totally suitable financial plan. As members of IFA Promotions, we offer an initial consultation, of a minimum of 30 minutes, without any cost or obligation whatsoever.
